Podcasts

Postcards from the Bush is a podcast about people and places in rural and regional Australia. Why do people live where they live, why do they do what they do, what drives them and who inspires them? Robin loves to ask questions and let the people tell their story in their own words. With 35 years of rural reporting behind her, Robin has a good understanding of agriculture and the pressures facing rural communities. She believes we can all learn from listening to the stories of others. Robin is a keen photographer, bushwalker and golfer, so join the ‘happy hacker’ as she heads bush and plays a few rounds in the Outback Masters in Queensland and tests her stamina on The Nullarbor Links, the World’s Longest Golf Course are on her bucket list.

#keepthetraditionalive streetart Porto Postcards from the Bush with Robin McConchie Podcast

Congratulations to young Spanish illustrator and artist Constanca Duarte,  @a_inconstancia for completing her street-art collection painted on electrical boxes in Porto. Artists are brightening up the streets of Porto with their work. Constanca fears the character of Porto is being lost due to pressures from tourism and her art is her way of keeping Portuguese tradition alive. It’s tough making a living as an artist, no less so in Porto, good luck Constanca! #ainconstancia https://www.instagram.com/p/CtHexMeMMf7/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
